Subject: 305 Download Help

I'm having problems downloading my bike workout from 4/19.  This is the first time I've done it since the new site went live.  I get a download complete message but it doesn't add it to the log.  Any idea how to fix this?  Could this be the result of updating the Gamin plug in ?  Thanks

Doug

The site update didn't change anything related to the Garmin upload process and there have been thousands of workouts successfully uploaded since then so I doubt it's related. Updating the Communicator plug in could be the cause. Can you be more specific about what happens? There isn't a "Download complete" message in the process. There's a "Transfer complete" message that displays after you first click on Get Data and it searches for a workout on that day. If any workouts are found for that day and sport, they get listed and an Upload link is displayed. After you click on that, a "Loading" bar is displayed and the workout data is then entered onto the screen. Which part is the process stopping at?

Sorry.  Your correct, it says "Transfer Complete" but then it doesn't list the workout or give me the upload link?

The Transfer Complete message signifies that the upload of the metadata of the training events in your device is complete. It then takes some time to display any found workouts for that sport/day and the link.

Depending on the number of workouts in your device and the performance of your browser/hardware etc it may take up to 15-20 seconds.

What OS/Browser are you using?

I tried it using IE 7 and the latest version of Firefox.  Also I tried waiting over 5 minutes for the next box to pop up but it seems to be hung up after it says "Transfer Complete"

I've spent the past couple days working on a complete rewrite of the uploading process. It's much more efficient and now handles multisport workouts. I'll let you know when it's ready to test, should be in the next 24-48 hours or so.
