Subject: RE: Horse Country Time Trial dangitdake - 2009-04-29 8:52 AM I'm most likely doing this event. I've done it in the past and it's well organized and alot of fun. The organizers are first class. 2 examples: The night before the TT, they work with volunteers to sweep gravel off the shoulder and make it safe and "silky smooth". I signed up for the last event and pre-paid my registration fee. A couple of days before the TT my grandmother passed away. When I sent an email to let Kevin (the race organizer) know I wouldn't make it; he passed along his condolences and refunded my race fee. Like I said, First Class!
I'll be wearing a Corinth Cycling Club jersey and riding a Scott Plasma. Look me up if you do the race.
Jamie You are 100% correct...first class. I didn't get a chance to do the first event this year either since I was out of town, but I hear the roads are completely repaved and very smooth (did the May event last year ). I'll be sure to look for you...I'm in a PACC kit with a Cervelo P2C. I heard a rumor that Corinth Cycling Club has banned TT bikes on their rides...is that true? Sorry to hear about your grandmother...my condolences as well. Edited by bmcgee 2009-04-29 9:05 AM
