Subject: RE: Caffeine in other ways than "usual"One caffeine pill and a glass of water should be under 50cal. Caffeine is diuretic so you get dehydrated. I also get that feeling when I drink to much coffee. Although caffeine is a good stimulent - it relaxes the muscles while boosting your nervous system - you should restrain your intake. To much does the opposite. Water that has anything else than water in it, I try to avoid, even mineral water. It's a personal and monetary choice - those things are costly for what they are! If I want something else then water I will take coffee, juice, tea or chocolate milk. The best way to take caffeine is throu coffee or tea (not herbal tea ). There is a large assortment of both on the market. You don't have to take them black or plain, add some flavor to it. Have you tried a latté? Or maybe Irish cream, halselnut or french vanilla flavors? Just cut back on calories elsewhere. Developping a taste for coffee or tea take some time and trail. You might as well have some fun while doing it. If you dont want to get the habit, because it becomes an habit whether it is a drink or a pill, forget caffeine because caffeine is the both the apple and the worm. Edited by lucka 2009-06-21 7:24 PM
