Transition 1
Comments: pretty easy with the tri suit, very glad i had water to wash off my feet dirty from running from the lake, up the beach, over the bridge, up the steps, up the steep chute..ahh! What would you do differently?: didn't get the velcro on my cleats tight enough rushing Bike
Comments: no real issues other than folks not knowing to keep right Transition 2
Comments: loved using yankz for shoe laces, very quick and easy Run
Comments: ok so i over did it on the bike which i love, paid for it on the run, legs really not that wobbly, just breathing hard, hated that steep chute up the hill to get to the road Post race
Warm down: no real warm down other than waiting in long line for t shirt, drank my gatorade bottle left over What limited your ability to perform faster: pushed the bike a little hard, may need to balance a bit better Event comments: a great first race for me, really just focused on putting all three sports together, dealing with transition logistics, excellent for that, had a blast Last updated: 2008-11-10 12:00 AM

Got up at 5 and ate pb&j english muffin and had big cup of coffee, guy next to me on the rack said to scrunch all your junk under the bike or latecomers will push your stuff around-good advice!, had way too much stuff out-should've kept it much simpler
jogged briefly in parking lot but felt pretty warm with workout suit on
