We've gone on a week long family get-together with my side of the family, and we've spent a week or more with my in-laws quite a few times. Some of the most enjoyable times we've ever had. It helps to spend you time someplace fun. In our case that was the Smokies (my family) and the Florida Keys (hers). |

Pro 5011 Twin Cities | Subject: RE: Family (extended family) vacations We spend a week or so with the in-laws every year, and do lots of short road trips with them and with my family. Pro 4578 Vancouver, BC | Subject: RE: Family (extended family) vacations We all went to Mexico for a cousin's wedding in December 2007 and it was great. I'd rather go on an extended family vacation in Mexico then travel to Kansas/Texas for a wedding. Got a little bit of a vacation out of it and got to see family that I don't get to see very often. Good times were had! |
