when exhaling underwater Am I suppose to exhale thu my nose or mouth or both....thanks

Both for me. I mainly breath through my mouth to get more air out, but I also do so through my nose, so to make sure no water gets in.

I tend to exhale mostly through my mouth, but it shouldn't make a difference...whatever is more comfortable for you really.

If you make it a habit of exhaling through your nose, the chances of water ever going up your nose is next to nil.

mainly through my mouth but there are times when water gets up my nose so I'm forced to breathe out of it too.
