Subject: OWS Sat. at Lake Lanier (after IronGirl bike check-in)

Since I have to drive up there anyway for the mandatory bike check-in on Saturday (6/27), I was thinking that I would get one last OWS practice in. Anybody up for a swim Saturday afternoon? If not actually at the Resort, then probably at Mary Alice for location. I was thinking about 3 or 4PM for the time.

Let me know if anyone is interested in meeting up.

Mary Alice is NOT a good place to swim on a Saturday at 3 or 4 in the afternoon. I went up there about 3 weeks ago at exactly that time and first of all it's packed with people doing the beach thing. Second of all there are so many boats out there that you would not want to go past the roped off area for fear of losing your life. I swam for a total of about 10 mins since I was already there and what I had to do was swim parallel to the shore. It was not worth the $4 fee you have to pay to park.

Just my 2cents.
