Subject: Triathlete Hopefull!
Hello Everyone,
My name is Michelle and I'm from a small town in Northern Virginia called Warrenton. I've been trying to find a website and some information on how to start training for a triathalon and I think I've found it!
I have done several 5K's and run approximately 3 miles every morning before work. But it's not enough and is getting boring.
I also need a fun way to help loose those extra pounds and firm up the muscles. If anyone has a nurtitional plan and/or a workout plan for a beginner, please end it my way!
I hope to talk with everyone more frequently!

I can't help you too much on the nutrition front, but as for training, if you click on the "Programs" button at the upper part of the page, there are a goodly bunch of free programs for various distances.  Since you can run a 5K already, you'd probably do best with a bike or swim focused plan.

Feel free to shoot me a PM if you have any really basic questions as I'm pretty new to the site as well, but can navigate around here well, and know lots of great people to point you towards for great info.
