You have to check this out..

Red Rock has joined with Special Olympics of Arizona (SOAZ) to put on a sprint triathlon and a Unified triathlon with local triathletes and Special Olympians in a relay super sprint triathlon (50yard swim, 2.5 bike, 1/2 mile run) at DC Ranch in Scottsdale on September 12. If you choose to be on the unique unified triathlon team you will be teamed up with a local Special Olympics Arizona Athlete and have a chance to help them train / compete and build a relationship together with you. There is NO CHARGE for the relay team. It is SOAZ's intentions to have the Special Olympians raise money for the cause. You can certainly help them out if you wish. They are capping both races at 100 so please register right away. If you want to be on the relay you can choose your own Special Olympian athlete if you have someone special in mind or SOAZ will team up with an athlete and notify you who your athlete is so you can meet with them.

This is awesome please take a look at the site and pass it on to your clubs and friends.

I helped coach Special Olympics Track and Field all the way to the state games this past spring and it was so much fun and rewarding to see them get excited about running and assisting them to reach their goals. This is a great way to give back to the community.

Here is the link, please pm me if you have any questions.

Trevor,
I just realized who you are. You're Kara's husband, right? I think I met you at the First Wave meeting on Tuesday.

Anyway, thanks for the info on the Unified Tri. This is such a great program.
