Subject: Help with Timex 100 lap watch
My watch is a Timex Triathlon 100 lap Flix and I can not figure out how to accomplish the following:

I would like to time each segment of my race.  ie; Total swim time, total T1 time, Total Bike time, total T2 time and then total run time and a grand total time.

When I use the CHRONO function LAP and press Start Split button, the main display (after a short pause) continues with the grant total time.

What I want is the the time since the last time I pressed the Start split button.

The reason I would like this feature is so that I can see how I am doing in each segment of my race based on my goal per segment.

Can this be done?

Thanks in advance

I believe you can.  I have the same watch and it seems like it does laps, then shows the total, average and best laps.

I printed out the instructions after I googled it.  If I recall when you hit Stop, you then ahve to save to mem, then you can review each lap time.

will display lap time in center section and total time in the smaller numbers below if you do this:
in CHRONO
Hit RECALL and wait about 5 seconds
LAP with SPL will be displayed and now hit START SPLIT button until LAP is the larger of the two letters and displayed in the center.
Now when you hit START SPLIT in CHRONO your lap time for that segment will be displayed in large numbers in the middle of your watch and the total time will be displayed at the bottom in smaller numbers.

^^^Do what he said.  The Timex Ironman watches can be set up one of two ways...

1. Show the running time in the big numbers and the lap time in the little numbers (above the big numbers).  This is how your watch is currently set up.
2. Show the current lap time in the big numbers and the overall running time in the little numbers (above the big numbers).  This is what I think you want.

However, if you store the chrono into memory and then "recall" you WILL be able to see the laps you have already recorded...but they will be in format #1 until you switch the settings.
