Subject: Lake Placid entry
I see if you do rode island 70.3 race you can sign up for lake placid for 2009 wondering if they will do that for all 70.3 races doing Muskoka 70.3 in september maybe offer other Ironman event.

At some events they will offer a few slots to upcoming full distance races.  That is not always the case.  You should check with the RD to see if they have slots.  And even if they do, there will usually only be around 10 or so which makes them at a premium.  My first 70.3 they had FL, WI and LP slots.  They rolled down just like they do for the Hawaii race.  The next year they just threw names in a hat for people who wanted them and drew them out like a raffle.  Of course you still had to pay the full entry fee.
