Anybody know how to do this (take apart a garmin forerunner 305)? My enter button is becomming increasingly difficult to press. I have a feeling something just needs adjusted below the rubber part to re-engage the "button" on the circuit board. I can hardly press eneter anymore!

The two halves of the case are glued together (as i found when mine jumped off my bike at >20mph) and not made to be taken apart (or, more accurately, put together) by the user. I sent mine to Garmin and they sent me a refurbished one.

That's what I was afraid of. Guess I'll be using a pen for now on to press the button. Hrmmm... bummer.

I've read many great things about Garmin customer service [right here on BT even :] and you should definitely contact them about your problem and see what they offer as a solution.

Good luck!

X2. Even though they knew mine fell of my bike, they covered it under warranty. Doesn't hurt to ask.

maybe use a soft brush and warm soapy water and try to just brush lightly around the buttons first? a build up of sweat and who knows what else were making the button hard to push, and it'd get stuck sometimes until I did that.
