Subject: can someone recommend swim coach?
Or a masters swim program where I can get coaching?

Area north of boston, like Wakefield, Stoneham, Winchester, Melrose, Reading, Saugus, Peabody, Lynnfield... and other areas close by those towns.

I went to a guy who works out of the Malden and Woburn Y, he was ok. It was only an 8 week class and I didn't get much out of it because he just talked about how he though Michael Phelps was a freak of nature the entire time.

I have used 5 swim coaches. By far the best is Jacki Hirsty..here is her website

She is based in RI but does teach in SW MA. She is a national Masters record holder in every AG she has swam in. She is great at explaining things different ways until it clicks with you. Her fees are reasonable. After working every winter with a different swim coach she has helped much more than all the rest.

It will be worth the drive.
