Hip Fluid

I took a spill on my bike about 2.5 weeks ago and came down hard on my left side.  Everything else has healed up pretty good except for my hip.  I have like a 3" diameter "knot" of fluid which feels similar to the bursitis I have had on my knee and elbow.  There is no pain at all in that area.   I am getting a little worried since it has not receeded at all in the 2.5 weeks.  I have not been icing it but plan to tonight and possibly see the doc early next week.  Any ideas on a diagnosis?  thanks
