Has anyone done one of these? There are three this summer. They are 5 mile trail runs that Renegade Racing puts on. I was wondering what people thought, and also how hilly they are. Would love your input, if you've raced them! Thank you!

As far as the race, i've never run it but I have run that trail many a time- its more of a gradual incline pretty much all the way out, with a sligt decline coming back. Fantastic shady trail and a wonderful run. While its not an easy 5 miles it certainly is enjoyable.

That's good to know. I don't mind inclines, just don't relish huge hills. I'm glad to hear there is shade. That helps a lot!

I am planning to do the one in early August as it sounded cool.  I just ran into the website a few weeks ago.  The only thing is that it seems that the kids obstacle course starts 1/2 hour after the main race does and 1/2 hour is my 3.5 mile time on the street.  I wanted to see my son have a go at the course.
