Hey there everyone, this weekend is my first tri at give it a tri in Gravenhurst. Just wondering who's coming. Any support would be welcome lol. Im gonna need it. anyways see you guys there I'm so excited!!

Doesn't look like the weather is going to be on our side at the moment. Hope that changes within the next couple of days. Have U made plans for after this event. Everyone says that this is just the start. After the first one you just keep looking for the next one. Guess we'll find out on Sun.

Yeah were going to Barrie after the race taking the bf to the Candy store aka Princess Auto. Too bad cause we could have high fived after. Maybe ill see you before. Good Luck

Nickih,
Was actually wondering if U wew considering doing another tri after Gravenhurst. There is another sprint and Try a Tri in Parry Sound on Aug 22 (http://www.townofparrysound.com/blog/id/102) Thought U might be interested since your in the north. This one doesn't seem to be listed. I found out about it when I was there a couple of weeks ago. Well I'll be heading up to Utterson tomorrow to relax before Sunday.

I did it too! It was my first tri as well. I didnt think I was going to finish the swim. Learned a valuable lesson about swiming in a wetsuit for the first time, espesially one that is too tight!!! The bike and run went awsome though!!!

This is my first year with a wetsuit and I can't believe I raced without one for so long!! Good luck with your training and keep us posted about your next race!

I am going to get an actual Tri wetsuit. I tried to do the swim in a borrowed sailing wet suit. You can not swim in those. Who knew? It was an experience that I will never forget, that is for sure!!! I am thinking about doing the Bracebridge Tri a Tri on the 9th of august... so ya, I think I am hooked!
