Subject: Long Bike Ride Sunday 19th

I'm putting together a long bike ride for anyone that wants to join.
We will be riding in Southern Maryland where it is nice and flat.
Start at 10am at Southern Senior High Scool.  See the link below for a map.
I plan to go 80miles and I already have some non-BT people coming that will be going at a slower pace (15mph), and also some faster people that have qualified for Kona and Clearwater.  Come on out and join the fun!

I'm going to try to make it for this, though I have no intention of going 80 miles at any speed.

James: at which parking lot are you meeting? The one by the baseball field?

I should be able to...I packed up all the stuff I need Eric to take to LP, but we won't be able to Tetris it into the car until late Saturday or early Sunday...I swear this wouldn't be a problem if I had the suburban I want. Or James' car.

Yes, we will be meeting in the parking lot by the baseball field.  It's really easy to find, just look for the school.  There will be people there of all speeds, do not worry.  Call me if you need anything 443-955-4910.

I teach at that school, so I shouldn't have any trouble finding it. For other's information, the school is a little bit before the intersection of Rte 2 and Harwood Rd. Google maps has kind of a blind spot where Harwood is concerned, and if you type in Harwood, MD, it's bound to give you an address in Baltimore City. Use James's link about to get yourself directions.

Also, there's a gas station/convenience store/Subway/post office at the intersection of Rte 2 and Harwood Rd, and it's the only thing for miles around.

This was a lot of fun. Thanks for getting it together, James. I only did a fraction of the miles the others did, but it was a nice pace and good (mostly) flat road with a wide shoulder. Plus, the convenience store gives a discount to cyclists (bi and motor) on Saturdays and Sundays.
