Subject: Cheap Trainer Wheel
All,

Now that I finally received my Kurt Kinetic Road Machine and Continental Trainer tire I was trying to find a cheap wheel.  I looked on Craigslist and there is nothing in the area.  I'm having issues finding "cheap" wheels out there.  Any suggestions?

What do you define as 'cheap'?

Performance has their Forte Titan rear on sale for $90 right now... you'd need to factor in the cost of a cassette, and rim tape on top of that.

Go ask your LBS if they have a wheel they cannot true. I got a wheel with rim tape and cassette for about $40.

Try your LBS.  I picked up a solid used wheel at my LBS for cheap ($25).  I'm a good customer at that shop, and they were willing to keep an eye out for a wheel for me, which they found within a week of my asking them.
