I heard that Cherry Creek and Chatfield both tested positive for e.coli.  Gravel Pond hasn't been tested.  Does anyone have an update on Grant Ranch?

Some friends and I were swimming at Grant Ranch this morning. I haven't heard a thing about Grant Ranch being effected. Not sure who checks the water there though as it isn't a state park.
Last I heard Chatfield had reopened but Cherry Creek was still closed.

Both Parks were supposed to re-open today...haven't heard but you could call the Parks' office.

Personally if Chatfield and CC swim beaches are positive, I'd stay out of the gravel pond and Grant Ranch too - hope it all gets clears up, I was planning to swim Grant Ranch Sunday a.m...

yep, I was swimming at CC Rez Tusday night for the aquaman.  next morning my wife tells me the rez is closed to swimming.  not surprised...that water and beach area are just gross!  I'll be doing the rest of my open water swims at Aurora Rez.
