missed for all practical purposes the better chunk of 3 solid weeks of bike training, and a bit more on and off before that after rockman ist weekend in june)

running was down to 15ish miles a week in that time, swimming down a bit.

assuming i can train again full time now, any thoughts on how long it will take to get that back?

for what its worth FTP before rockman just over a month ago was at 265ish.

since then i have dropped about 5 pounds, and holding much over 245-250 is hard (aka FTP feeling).

Well, the ugly side of training as a triathlete is that when you lose time in training and you want to get it back, it really doesn't come that much faster than when however long it took you to reach that point in the first place.  Hopefully if you maintained a steady diet muscle memory will be able to help you to an extent... but not THAT much.

Just my opinion from personal experience.

one part of me is slightly freaking out for my last few races of the year, the other side si going saying i have years of pretty consistant training and only a few weeks off wont have trashed it too much, or not to the point that i cant get it back in 8ish weeks.

That has never been true for me. I've always been able to rebound back to my pre-injury fitness level very quickly and far faster than the time it took me to originally build up to that point.

Ditto.  Much easier to get back to a level you were already at.

For the OP, no two people are the same of course, but I bet that within a few weeks you are most of the way back.
