Subject: Computrainer questions

I am wondering if I buy a Computrainer can I use the power meter out on the roads or is it integrated into the trainer? 

What else do you need to buy that is not included in the Computrainer package?

integrated in the trainer.

Pennstate has a good review on his personal blog....check it out.  I beleive it is linked on this page here at BT.....

I think you need a computer to be able to use it properly.  plus, a TV/display device if you wanted real courses, but this is not necessary.

It is built into the trainer.  Can't go with you on the road!

You can use the Ct stand alone, but you'll need to hook it up to a computer to use the CT software to ride courses and to use the coaching software.

I have both. I used the computrainer in the winter and my powertap outside the rest of the year. I know I'm spoiled, hubby loves me!
