Subject: new bike = soar wrists?
I just got my new tri bike this weekend and everything felt really good on the first 2 rides except my writsts got really tired.  Is this normal to feel this for a while or does something sound wrong?

Everything else was great.  Aero position felt smooth and controlled.  I actually climbed really well in aero as well.  Only problem is wrists.

Was it from the aero position? What aero bars are you running?

Seems odd to me as I have carpal tunnel in both hands and my hands get sore on my cross or road bike but not at all on my tri bike as my weight is on my forearms.

Are you riding mostly in aero? Do you hold onto ends of aero bars all the time? Did you get a bike fit with your new bike?

Your areo bars may be to low and/or your pads may br to close together. Finally what shape are your aerobars?

I am in aero the whole time.  It is the way that I am holding on to them.  When they got real tired I would lay them on top for a little while.  My friend said this happened to him but went away within a couple of rides.

I had Profile Design T2+ on my tri bike and got ride of them because they hurt my wrists.

This may not even be the problem in your case, but check out this article: http://www.bikesportmichigan.com/features/sbend.shtml
It's good info for everyone to have.

They are zipp but I don't know the model.  They go straight out and just barely bend up at your hand point.

I don't know if that makes any sense at all after reading that.
