Looking to see who is heading out there this week so we can get some groups together.  I am hoping to start around 6am from Olin and do the full course from there.  Probably not gonna goof with the terrace, so 109 or 110 miles probably?  Hoping for 18.5-19.5 range.  If you are going, post times and expected pace.  I know some peeps looking to ride with others if possible.

I could do one loop of the course and start from Law Park at a much more reasonable 16ish sort of pace if anyone is interested on Saturday or Sunday early morning provided I don't fall down again.

Chris will kill me on Fri.'s Elkhart Lake long day training - if I'm up for it, maybe I'll hit one loop in the a.m. with you guys?  I have to make an appearance in Milwaukee in the morning to see Tony and Robyn.  I'll play it by ear.

So, if you leave Olin you'll hit Gray's Tied House by 6:40'ish, that around 14 miles or so?

You're not allowed to bike Saturday morning. You have to run Saturday morning and bike Sunday afternoon.

Looks like you guys will be warming up the course for me and the rest of the Tri Wis crew.  We'll be wheels out from Olin Turnville at 7 bells.

Join your fellow TriWis teammates for another TriWis Ironman course ride.  This time we'll conquer the entire 112-mile course.  With race day just 5 weeks away, this will be a great time to test yourself over the distance.

We'll start in the parking lot at Olin-Turville Park again.  There's plenty of free parking and it's easy to find.  Try to get there by 6:45 so we can start promptly at 7:00am.   Seems early but it's a long day.

We'll have 3-4 groups based on ability.  Course maps and que sheets will be available.  Please check your tires and other equipment to make sure everything's in good shape.
We will have any SAG support for major mechanical issues.  Be prepared to fix your flats (just like the race).

After the ride, there's a nice trail in the park for an optional short run so don?t forget your running shoes.

How to get to Olin-Turville Park:
Take I-94 West to I-90 South to Hwy 12/18 West (the beltway).
Exit at John Nolan Drive.  The park will be less than a mile on your right. It's the first park lot after the Sheraton hotel on the right.

Optional Carpool
If you'd like to carpool or caravan out to the Park, be at the Hwy G (Golf Rd) Park&Ride off of I-94 West NO LATER THAN 5:30AM !

Please contact Mike Karbouski mkarbo @ wi.rr.com with any questions.

I was wondering about the reroutes as well if it would be possible to eat all the bananas at the gas station in Mt Horeb.  Thats a big table of bananas fo sho!

I will deprive myself of bananas all week to try to make this possible.

I would be up for one loop on Saturday in the 16.5ish crowd, although I cannot start at oh-dark-thirty.  Would prefer the more reasonable hour of 8am.

It really is a large table of bananas.  They probably sell more bananas than any other gas station.  In the world!

Mmmm...  Gas station bananas and a Coke...  What could be better half way through 112 miles?

I'm not. I just hadn't checked BT in a couple hours. Robert - you, too, are required to run early on Saturday, ride on Sunday. Of course, I'm not riding 112. So, I suppose that means he might get a pass, eh?

I dunno.  If he's like a younger brother aren't we supposed to be able to boss him around?? Otherwise what's the point
