I'm usually reluctant to bash a company, but I will- Vetta sucks. I bought their V100 wireless cadence and speed computer for about $100, I think, and it worked for about 500 miles on the bike. First the cadence became erratic, then the speed, then the cadence stopped, then the speed stopped. It does keep great time, though . I tried the all of the troubleshooting ideas in the manual, replaced alll of the batteries, checked the alignment, etc.. Useless. The manual has no phone #'s, and I'm pretty sure neither does their website- just an email address. I've emailed their support a few times and have not heard back- the first email was 3 weeks ago. I'm sure I can track down phone # thru the 'net, but I'm just going to ditch the stupid thing (or post in the the Classifieds at ST .

Do you have any other electronics near the computer?  I had a problem with my Cateye giving funky readings for my speed and was able to trace it to some interference from my speaker system and light setup I used for commuting.  Moved the computer away and that fixed it.  Just a thought...

no, not even a cell fone. Thought it might be the front brake pad, but don't think that's it.

Is there any sort of "pairing" process that links up the sensors with the computer?  If so, you might re-do that.

If it's that hard to find a phone number, they probably don't have a very robust phone tech support system, so I don't know if you'll get much satisfaction even if you can get them by phone.  Sucks that their email support isn't responsive.
