Veteran  159  |  Subject: wheels??I am thinking of taking a leap and buying some new wheels. I ride an "07 Cannondale Six13, partial carbon right now. I would spend around $1200, I have heard good things about the Spinergy's. Can you guys shed some light on this subject and if wheels are worth the money?? Thanks! |

| Subject: RE: wheels?? What kind of biking do you normally do? Time trial type (straight/fast)? Roadie type (bumpy, turns, etc)? For $1200 you have opened the door to just about all types of go fast wheels, if only used. Zipp, HED, Williams, Gray, Easton, Mavic... |

I picked up a brand new set of SRAM s60's for under $1000 and they are fantastic wheels, same wheels as flashpoints/zipps (hubs arent as good as zipps) and good value. Am getting a set of S80's for my tt bike (60's are on the roadie, lightweight enough that climbing is a breeze but super fast on the flats) |

You might need to catch another board to ask that one. The ones suggested are all aero and probably will continue to be aero based. |
