Subject: Open Water Swim in Raleigh Area?
Does anyone know of a group that does open water swims in the Triangle area? I am new to tri's and I am just getting back into swimming (after a 15-year break). I have seen some that do 1-mile, but I am not ready for that yet. Maybe something like 1500 yards max?

Yes. keyone has a yahoo group. You can find her in the NC forum. The swims are usually on Wed or Thursday at 6PM in Lake Jordan. Its called the sneak spot. I am sure if you send her a PM she will send you an invite to join the group. The swimming is in a cove and is about 400 yds.  out, so 800 yds for each round trip.
