Elite  3656      West Allis, Wisconsin |  Subject: Packers!So it is now football season and the conversation with a coworker turned towards the Packers. He thinks we should sign Vick so that Vick can replace Rodgers (whom is unproven, according to him) and lead us to the Superbowl. When I pointed out that Vick has NEVER been that accurate of a passer, his response was that it is because he has never received the proper coaching, which he would under McCarthy.........................ok. Now taking the personal issues off of the field off the table (whole nother topic..........but he is scum) I think it would be intringuing to line up Vick in the backfield with Grant and Rodgers under center with Driver and Jennings out wide.............lots of possibilities there. Any thoughts? (oh and the ONLY way, according to my coworker, that Rodgers can prove himself is to win a Superbowl. When I pointed out that Vick is technically unproven then, he answered that Vick wouldve won one if he didnt do what he did....................) |

and for the record... whats more donkey like than be a vikings fan...?!? to every year invest your time, heart and soul into a team knowing very well that every season ends in suffering through disappointment, heartache and misery... to only turn around then and go through the same process the next year... year after year after year after year...!!! It would be like doing a marathon every year... and never finishing one of them..!!! thinking that this is going to be the year... now the pieces are in place... i've trained harder... and smarter... every year... to only drop at mile 20 some years... mile 23 in other years... and some years dropping with the tape in sight... to then lace 'em back up the following year with no hardware to show for it... and thinking "yep, this is definitely the year...!!!" let me tell you - it a painful existence being a vikings fan...!!! |
