Swim
Comments: Mon river, it was cold and choppy. Current really hit on the turnaround. Felt pretty tired, but not too bad overall. Probably the best of the 3 was in the water. I was a little off course, veering to the right, but kept me out of traffic. Transition 1
Comments: Pretty tired going into the bike. I stopped halfway between the swim and transition area to take off my suit, there was more room. HR was jacked up What would you do differently?: Practice taking off my suit more. Bike
Comments: Overall, pretty disappointed in my bike effort. It took me about 3 miles before I really got the legs under me to pedal. I think the swim really took it out of me. The rough roads were awful and I just couldn't settle in. I passed chris at about mile 14 What would you do differently?: I don't know what was wrong, just didn't feel up to par. Maybe I was a bit fatigued. Transition 2
Comments: Forgot to take my feet out of the shoes, so I had to just run with my bike shoes on. Overall, it didn't really affect the T2 time, I don't think What would you do differently?: Take feet out of shoes. Run
Comments: Had a horrible pain in my right abdomen, don't know what it was, but I had to stop running twice in the first mile, took 10 minutes to get mile 1 done. It eventually worked itself out, might have been trapped gas or something. Overall, I was pretty tired, and my feet got realy tore up on the sides. I moleskined my second toes (as learned from wheeling). I either need tri running shoes or moleskin the sides of my feet. What would you do differently?: Moleskin my feet or wear socks Post race
Warm down: Nothing What limited your ability to perform faster: I felt pretty spaced out and might have been a little sick. I just had a bad day. Last updated: 2009-01-22 12:00 AM
