Subject: xlab nut - nanoflator/ speed chuck
I have just got a rear hydration system and and and xnut.  Of course my old co2 inflator isn't threaded so I will have to change. I know I need to get threaded co2 - can I get any threaded or  are xlab special size???? to go with...

- nanoflator or speed chuck?  Is this an either or or does the speed chuck attach to the nanoflator to control flow.
If speed chuck is just a nanoflator with control doesn't this make more sense to buy compared with nanoflator?

Thanks
Jackie

Honestly, I was never very good with inflators that didn't have a lever.   I hated the speed chuck.

SOmeone gave me the idea to buy one of these http://www.onetri.com/genuine-innovations-proflate-inflator-p-3317.html  and just remove the "holder" for the cartridge, leaving just the head.  Not much bigger/heavier than the chuck and full control.

Chuck kinda gives you control thru the spring, but I found it didn't work well for me

thanks chrism
the one I use is a lever thing because I was so rubbish at getting all the co2 in first time with no control!
I am now wondering whether the one I have will actually fit if I take the cartridge covering off. Thanks for the idea.  Then all I'll need to do is get some threaded cartridges.
