Congratulations.

There are a number of members here who have had open heart surgery, including a couple of Ironmen.

I received a mechanical aortic valve in December 2000.  I was told that without the surgery I had less than a three year life expectancy.  Kind of changes your attitude about a lot of things.  Being a BOPer isn't such a big deal anymore, just being out there is the important thing.
