As I mentioned in the previous thread i started, i'm thinking of doing my first triathlon.  I live in Central Mass and was wondering if there were any tri-suit retailers in the area?  I'm also headed up to the Cape for the next week, so any out that direction would be good as well

The two in this area are Fast Splits in Newton and Quad Multisport in Arlington  - they are relatively near each other if you are coming this direction.

you can also find some at city sport and REI...but fastsplits has a great selection.  I didn't know this when I bought mine so I went to triports.com ordered 3 trisuits...which I got a percentage off the retail and had mailed to me.  I was looking for a one piece and I tried a craft, a desoto and a zoot.  Ended up keeping the desoto.  It was very easy to ship back the 2 I didn't want and they refunded me promptly.

REI in Framingham only had tri tops and bottoms for women - no suits (checked two weekends ago)

The staff at Fast Splits is very helpful too. Even though I wasn't buying anything that day, they were willing to talk about a lot of the technology side of the sport. Because I'm a clyde, they don't have any wetsuits for me, but they were willing to talk about them anyways, giving me a nice idea on what to look for in the suits I am planning on trying out.

We're going to head over to Quad today.

Sometimes Fast Splits has Clyde sized stuff in stock, but they don't stock XL/XXL consistently - I got my 2XU wetsuit and some tri tops there. At the time that I bought my wetsuit, Quad did not have any on the shelf. Shopping for Clyde tri gear is not easy!!!

Especially because I'm a uber-clyde, I doubt the XXLs would fit (more like 5X).  I'm currently participating in a trial for wetsuitrentals.com evaluating Akona wetsuits made for larger clydes for them. I got 2 of them yesterday that I'll be using over the next few weeks.

I'm mostly looking at the local tri-suit retailers for my fiancee, who wants a tri-wetsuit, and takes a small.
