Subject: RE: Anti inflammatory diet I didn't get "the anti-inflammatory diet" book or anything personally (probably should though ). I just eliminated ALL carbs except for the carbs in whole fruit and vegetables for 30 days. The first few days I though I would starve, until I figured out what I could eat. I've since added in oatmeal, and wholegrains and I've been able to handle them just fine, and have more energy since I did. I also cheat and eat a sugary item about once every week or two. Any more than that and I can feel my joints start to inflame. I needed that original 30 days of being really good though to be able to handle it. Oh, and I also take a fish oil supplement, the omega 3's help with inflammation. Sorry, not very helpful, it's just been my own experience. |
