Clipless Pedals-Made me faster

So I had my first race with clipless pedals today. It was a sprint.
On the bike, I was 3 minutes 20 sec faster than my race July 4th. In addition, I practiced on this course last week as a test run without the pedals and wasn't as fast.
So, I would sat at least 1 minute of the time savings was just due to having clipless. This was a pretty big time savings for a sprint.
