Subject: Tempe Ironman Denver Training
Greetings! Met someone tonight who is training on her own for Arizona Ironman in November! Told her I might be able to find her some training buddies in the SW Denver area? Definately not me! I will send her the info to become a BT user but didn't know if I could find anyone else training for this specific IM who is also on BT to get her more motivated in the meantime. Other various training groups, etc. Any ideas on info to send her or groups to get involved with?

I won't be doing IMAZ and I really think after next weekend I won't be doing much riding for the rest of the season.  There are some groups in the Denver area that your friend could do some organized rides with.  Team Evergreen and Heartcycle both come to mind.   She might also try Parker TRiathlon Club.  I'm sure they have some people training for IMAZ.  All these clubs have websites and you could do a quick Google and find them.

I'm very new to the Denver area (been here less than a week!) but I'm considering IMAZ 2010, and after a HIM this weekend will be focused on the Las Vegas marathon.. not sure how much help I can be but tell her to feel free to PM me if she joins BT.

I'm training for the IMAZ this November and would welcome training partners.  I try to get in 2 swims (OWS at Chatfield),  3 rides and 3 runs a week.  With a long ride and run on the weekend.
I've got a sprint triathlon this Sunday, so I won't be riding and running long this weekend.

Not doing IMAZ this year, but I'll be starting my training in 2 weeks to build up from a HIM tomorrow to 2 IMs in 2010 (Looking to do Louisville and Arizona).  I'm in the north suburbs, but I train in some downtown parks, Boulder, Lookout Mountain, and even make the occasional trip to Littleton to ride.  I'd love to find someone to do some OWS with more often though, I'm lacking in that area and a buddy system is always good.

Speaking of my HIM tomorrow I should probably get to sleep since I have to be up in 6 hours for it. ;-)  BT is addictive.
