If you are able to get out and run at what you feel is an aggressive pace without needing multiple days to recover, you may just be one of those people who can adapt quickly. It sounds like you should have no issues finishing, strongly is a very subjective term. Strong versus others will be difficult with that little training. I would suggest getting a Heart Rate Monitor if you do not have one, that will help you judge what kind of stress you are putting on your body during your workouts etc.Also one beginners mistake that is often seen is over training. Do not neglect the importance of recovery days. Sometimes you will gain more by letting your body recover for a day than you will by pushing another workout. |
