What would you do differently?: Be more aggressive in passing people. Not mean, but getting in front of the people who are slowing me down. Transition 1
Comments: This was my first time so I thought I did pretty good. It was raining so I didn't bother drying off (my towel was wet anyway). What would you do differently?: have my shoes already unlaced (rookie mistake). Have my helmet and gloves ready to go Bike
What would you do differently?: Stand up to pedal on the hills, drink more water and have a second nutrition bar (small square larabar) with me for the end of the ride. Go a little slower at the beginning. Transition 2
What would you do differently?: run into the transition area instead of walking to get feeling back into my legs. Run
Comments: I Ran/walked this one and was very surprised to find that my time was better than it is when I'm practicing. What would you do differently?: train in the bike to run transition more. Post race

Packed my race bag the night before. Got up early and ate a few bites of chicken for breakfast (will eat more next time). Filled up my water bottle for my bike. Husband loaded bike onto his car. Got to the venue 45 minutes before the start of the race. Got body marked, set up transition area and picked up timing chip.
Walked around and did quite a bit of lower body stretching.
