Dar89 I blame this all on you and your 6 AM show times.  I could have slept another hour without having weird dreams about not getting a slot for next year  Looking forward to the adventure. 

In all seriousness does anyone think the new REV3 series adds I keep seeing have something to do with this?  Same date and in the midwest?  Looks like some competition for the IRONMAN branded events.

Now, now... don't you have the satisfaction of getting it done and having the rest of the day to do whatever???  I'm kinda with ya about the 6am thing.  I can blame it on my friend that didn't want to wait in line so long.  I had to take 2 naps today!

I saw at about 2:30 today that slots were still open.  I'm guessing it's because of the economy, or that you had to pay on-site.  Rev3 might have something to do with it, but I'll just throw out there (without any basis of rumor or fact):  Did IM increase the number of participants for this year or for next year? (it seems so); and possibly, might there be event or course fatigue?  What about prize money offered - is IMOO on par with other events?

It would be interesting to see how the # of 1st time participants have varied year over year for IMOO.

Darn. It's full now. And here I was considering it. ;P

2011 Deanna - Happy 40th birthday to us!  I know 2 girls that have done it before that are considering doing it again in 2011.
