A clyde's rant to those others that have a difficult time with the run!Yell

So frustrating...raced my first race in Elite catagory this weekend due to entry error.  Was super nervous about not keeping pace.  Kept pace in swim, was 8th place overall exiting the water.  Had a great bike split, giving up only one spot to be in 9th overall at T2 (avg over 22MPG).

This is when everything fell apart, as it typically does.  Gave up 60 positions in my run...god this is frustrating.

Looking forward to offseason to shed the remaining 30lbs and get to consistent sub 8min miles and stop giving back all my gain!

yes, I ride a hybrid - powered by bio fuels (in my case potatoes, apples and bananas vs. Kim Bassinger with the french fry oilWink.  Although this is my conundrum, as I would think the run should be easier...

That's good going for a first season, but I agree - another 30 lbs off will help the run tremendously. I'm working on that too.

sounds like you keep cooking yourself on the bike and don't leave anything for the run.
