Extreme Veteran  1996     Halifax, Nova Scotia |  Subject: why everybody needs a dog (http://ca.news.yahoo.com/s/capress/091207/national/ns_autistic_boy<... /> The dog stayed with the boy for 2 days, eventually leaving him when he was called out of the woods by searchers. Before the team following the paw prints back to the boy got there another team found him. As of this hour James is still in critical so were keeping our fingers crossed. Man's (and boys and girls) friend! |

That being said, I don't need or want a dog Brad, I see you about 2 years from now giving your new furry puppy a great belly rub before heading back out to work as a volunteer for President Obama's re-election campaign. (Ok, I'm just kidding about the belly rub part  ). No Trish, he's not, but this story kind of grabs all us here as Nova Scotia is so lightly populated. We have fewer than a million in the entire province. You're right, their devotion and smarts can truly be amazing.
