Either the muscle you have currently will be sufficient and you'll maintain, or it'll be unnecessary - and you'll lose it, or not enough, and you'll gain it.
Start out slowly, short distances, lots of recovery. Don't ramp up more than 10% per week, have fun, ask lots of questions, and find a masters' group to swim with. |
