*The above reason was given to a bystanders wife when she asked why they put numbers on the arms and legs. She went ghost white! HAHA, awesome! Dan's right - they'll stick it wherever they can. Plus, some races will mark your thighs too, or the tops of your hands, etc. If you've got your race number in a few other places on your body (including your non-tatted arm), you're good. I body-marked once at a race, and had to mark a few guys with REALLY hairy arms...nothing you can do there but just write it over all the hair. It's fine. If you're really concerned, you could write it on your swim cap too. |
