Comments:

Did not bother stopping at water stations due to length of run. Course is down hill but there are no extreme slopes. I overheard another runner say, "I thought it would be faster." It is a fast course but not as fast as you might think.
What would you do differently?:

I strained my left hamstring opening up my stride in the last 100 yards or so.

What limited your ability to perform faster:

I started the race at the very rear of the pack. I think I lost 20 seconds just getting to the starting line.

Event comments:

Race started 10 minutes late as they did not have enough buses to bring runners to the starting line. Very scenic course - very fast course. Hollis is a beautiful town. Very well marked course. Towards the end of the race, they even had the quarter miles indicated (it helped!). Great post-race gathering!
