Is there a way to import planned training into Microsoft Outlook?

It would be VERY helpful to have my daily training in my BB so I knew what was coming for the day.

Thanks.

We don't have the functionality to export an entire plan to Outlook. You can have your workouts emailed to you the night before.

Personally, I have a routine on Sunday evenings where I plan my upcoming week. Part of that is looking at my training plan and entering the upcoming week's workouts into my Google Calendar. Takes ten minutes or less and that way they're entered at specific times and not just as an all day event.

I haven't tried this but you may be able to use this method as a work around.  You'd need to export your BT planned data to an Excel file and then follow this:  Importing stuff into your Outlook Calendar (or Tasks) from Excel.

I ended up just creating a 2 column excel spreadsheet with the date and the overall plan for the each day, such as:

Subject Start Date
Swim 2200/ Bike 40 3/1/2010
Swim 2200/ Run 40 3/2/2010
Swim 2400/ Bike 35 3/3/2010
Run 60 3/4/2010

This way I can see on my BB what I need to schedule for each day, and just check the BT page for workout specifics.

Let me know if you want the excel file that I have created for import. If you are doing the 8 weeks swim focus and the basic IM plan, you won't have to do any typing.

That's not what the website indicated when I just paid to sign up.  Thanks a lot.

Meyerslink,

This is an old thread.  You can now plug the Ical URL from your training log 'calendar sync' settings into Outlook and it will pull workouts from your planned training.

I assume this is what you want to do?
