Tearing a tendon doesn't sound like fun but glad you've found tri as an alternative  I really like tri because you get to mix up the training. Although I can't offer any specific suggestions, all you really need for the pool to get started is a good pair of goggles, a suit of your choice, and probably a swim cap. Make sure you get some decent goggles that don't leak, it's really frustrating to swim with leaky goggles and a cap to keep the chlorine out of your hair too much. Good luck and happy training! |
