Water temp at Belle Isle is 50 degrees.
I am up for it

I am heading out tomorrow with Wifey...She bought a new kayak paddle and wants to go out 52F at Belle Isle and 54 in Lake St. Clair

Is there a website that posts water temps for lake Erie?

Water was great..a little cooler than Muskoka but just as warm as it was durning the BR tri...either that or it was cause I had a neoprene hood on and neoprene socks. Water was crystal clear, ended up going 2km.

Jeff, thats nuts. Also where'd you get the hat and boots? did you feel it made a difference?

got them at the running factory...yes they did make a difference.The hood comes pretty far down on the forehead (which I find is the most sensative area to the cold) and covers the ears. The boots were great, just like an extension of the wetsuit..just remember to tuck the boots under the wetsuit not the other way around cause it'll make the suit retain water as you are walking out of the water.
