Subject: Fuel or no fuel I have a 12-13 mile run tomorrow morning (which I expect to take ~2 hours ). plan is for 2 6ish miles loops. I'm on vacation and forgot GUs and fuel belt. I'll carry a water bottle with me. Normally I would take 2-3 GUs on the run. I'll eat a good meal 2-3 hours before the run, but should I just (a ) not fuel during the run (b ) eat a bananna after the first loop (c ) carry watered down lemonade in my bottle (d ) carry a zip lock bag of peanut butter and jelly in my pocket [seems like a gross/bad idea]. Run is a Higdon 3/1 run so last 3 miles are supposed to be around goal mary pace. Thanks. |
