Subject: Reset on a Garmin 310XTI recently (less than 10 days ago ) purchased a 310XT which I have used 7 or 8 times. Starting last Thursday, the device stopped working properly. The unit does not calculate distance, avg speed, etc. even though the unit is connected to the satellites. In addition, the elapsed time does not reset. Basically, the only things which works properly are the heart rate portion and the time of day. I found in the owners manual a way to reset the device (holding down Mode and Lap/Reset at the same time ). This did not fix anything. I just am including it so you know what I have already tried. I contacted Garmin support on Thursday but they have yet to respond. Does anybody now a way to further "reset" the device? I saw an article that described a "master reset" for the 405 but the combination described did not work on the 310. Thank you in advance. |
