Comments: COLD!!! 7:45am start. 6'C & stiff SW breeze. Started fast approx. 4:05 Min / km, then settled down to 4:30's. Leg 3 was down to 4:55 - 5:05's. Leg 4 was 4:20's which I didn't think would have been possible. Shins incredibly sore for 1st 4 km then remarkably the pain went away. It was so bad with each heel strike, I was seriously thinking of withdrawing after the first lap! On leg 3 felt pain on the inside of L knee for about 3 mins then it went away. RH groin was tightening up throughout the run What would you do differently?: Start a bit more consevativley! Post race
Warm down: None What limited your ability to perform faster: More training! Event comments: Felt very good given that I have had little training this month. SKINS leggings were excellent and seemed to have enhanced performance and my recovery. Last updated: 2005-07-16 12:00 AM
