The main pricing difference (aside from components) is that the P3 simply costs more to produce the frame with the full rear wheel cutout, but otherwise they share most od the same features. I just puked up a P2 yesterday since it simply fit me better than a P3, but different body styles will fit the stock bikes differently. Basically the same bike except the P3 has a shorter headtube. That means you are riding steeper (your body is rotated slightly more forward ). You gain a little in aerodynamics but potentially loose in comfort / balance. Chrissie Wellington won her first Ironman Kona on a P2. BUT please avoid puking up any Cervelos like the previous poster did. The stomach acids really mess with the paint job. |
