Subject: 10K race two weeks before first marathon There's a 10-K race that I really would like to do but I looked at the date of it and it's two weeks before the Philly Marathon. The Philly Marathon will be my first marathon so I think it's VITAL for me to go into the race with as fresh legs as possible. My longest run to date is about 12-13 miles and I'm simply using the marathon as a way to get ready for the IMLP next year. Current thought = run the 10K at my marathon pace goal (TBD ). Your thoughts? |
